With many of icetana’s team members required to undertake frequent travel, management decided to implement work from home arrangements early on in the COVID-19 crisis. We moved swiftly and early to implement our work from home policy, and have been operating this way for more than three weeks now.
“The transition was seamless given most staff were set up to work from home anyway,” said CEO Matt Macfarlane. “Using online collaboration and conferencing tools, we’re able to stay in close contact and ensure business is continuing as usual.
“We’re fortunate that we are accustomed to operating in this way given we liaise on a daily basis with clients and staff around the world, so we have had minimal downtime. “In fact, we have held a number of interactive staff meetings and are finding team members’ online personalities beginning to emerge.”
