Now based at Deakin University, Professor Venkatesh and her team are highly regarded internationally as industry leaders in the areas of computer vision and large data set pattern recognition. Her team researched the mathematical techniques and designed the innovative technology for “anomaly detection in large data-sets” for which there are patents pending.
